Retro City Rampage DX | Switch Review

Parody is hard. Too often, bad jokes are followed by a pause for laughter that doesn’t come. Retro City Rampage DX on Switch doesn’t care. What looks like a Grand Theft Auto rip-off quickly devolves into subtle commentary on everything “bad” deified by the modern man’s nostalgia.

Bulb Boy Review

The full campaign only lasts up to three hours if you’re really thoughtful on your exploration; and while there is an option to revisit any previous level on the game’s completion, there isn’t much appeal in redoing the puzzles after you know their solution, not much in the way of collectables. That said, if you’re looking for a short and enjoyable experience then Bulb Boy may be exactly what you need, perfect for a plane ride or long car journey.

Mr Shifty Review

Mr. Shifty isn’t a huge game in terms of length, but the three- to four-hour campaign is ample. It’s like a shot of adrenalin, offering an exciting, intense experience, and it’s easy to forgive the game’s performance flaws when it so consistently makes you feel like a badass.
